Royal Worcester Herbs Porcelain Tea Pot and CoverAntique botanical prints are popular once again for decorating country-style homes. Royal Worcester perpetuates this theme with its Herbs collection, which mimics the colorful naturalist sketches of the 18th- and 19th-century in a dinnerware pattern. This 6-cup covered tea pot coordinates with several matching tea accessories, including cups with saucers, a creamer, and a sugar bowl (all sold separately). It features drawings of a blooming sprig of marshmallow on one side and sage on the other, labeled with their common and Latin names. A border of four different colorful herbs encircles the top of the pot while an additional branch of rosemary unexpectedly appears on the underside of the spout. A pair of butterflies flutter around the finial handle of the separate lid. A final bright green band on the bowl's rim and spout and on the lid's finial ties all the plant life together.
This serveware is made of fine porcelain, a durable ceramic material formed from fired clay with a white finish and translucent sheen and is safe for the microwave, freezer, oven, and dishwasher. Suitable for either formal or informal dining, this tea pot is made in England and coordinates with other Worcester Herbs dinnerware and serving pieces. --Cristina Vaamonde
Royal Worcester Holly Ribbons Teapot and CoverMade in England since 1751, Royal Worcester has created tableware collections for every occasion. Crafted from fine bone china, Holly Ribbons celebrates the elegance of the holiday season with an understated pattern that coordinates with a wide variety of Christmas decorations. Based upon a Victorian design, a solid white background showcases a thin red ribbon intertwined with sprigs of holly and sprays of celebratory mistletoe. Slender bands of 22 carat gold trim the edges of each tableware piece, adding a graceful sophistication to the holiday table.
Measuring 11 inches from handle to spout, 6-1/2 inches wide, and 7 inches tall, this Holly Ribbons footed teapot beautifully coordinates with the matching teacup, creamer, sugar bowl, and all complementary dinnerware items. With a 56-ounce capacity, the pot holds enough brewed tea for a group of seven, and keeps the beverage hot while serving. Suitable for use between Thanksgiving and New Year's, this pot will become an essential part of the holiday season. Fashioned from durable fine bone china, Royal Worcester recommends washing all tableware pieces by hand for increased resilience. --Lea Werbel
